Design description
◆ Technical specification
MR-SafeRing-12/24 series inflatable switchgear is installed on a frame coated with aluminum zinc plate. The switching unit is in the SF6 gas tank, which is made of corrosion resistant and nonmagnetic 3mm thick stainless steel plate.
The SF6 gas tank is a "seal pressure system" which can run for 30 years under normal working conditions. When the SF6 gas is working normally, the pressure is 0.15~0.4bar. The gas tank is equipped with a pressure relief device. When the pressure is too high, the gas can be released from the bottom or the rear part.
◆ Switch unit
Load switch adopts coaxial rotating double breakpoint mode, and operates with sliding plate through the same operating hole. Therefore, the switch can only be in one of the three states of "closing, dividing and grounding" at any time, thus avoiding misoperation thoroughly.
◆ Operating mechanism
The operating mechanism of the switch is installed in the front of the air box. After special process treatment, it is rust-proof,convenient for manual operation and maintenance, and easy to realize electric operation.

Transformer/Line protection
RMS6-12 inflatable cabinet provides two transformer protection methods: load switch fuse combination electrical appliances and circuit breakers with relay protection.
Fuse combination module using load switch
Transformer protection is a combination of current-limiting high-voltage fuse and load switch. The fuse compartment will be installed behind a separate enclosure with a lock at the front of the unit. The load switch uses a spring energy storage mechanism, which can be triggered by the striker of the fuse.
In order to facilitate the replacement of the fuse. The operating handle can be used to remove the end cover of the fuse compartment. The trip mechanism of the fuse is in front, which ensures the waterproof performance of the entire system.

◆ Cable room
The cable installation space of the inflatable cabinet is abundant, and the cable connection height reaches 600 mm. The cables of each unit are separated by aluminium-zinc coated sheets, which is convenient for maintenance and repair. Most of the remaining space can be equipped with current transformers and other control and protection devices.
Prefabricated cable connectors are used for cable connection, and shielded and non-shielded connectors can be used for connectors, as well as lightning arresters.
For double cables to enter the cable and install lightning arresters, it is necessary to use a deepened cable chamber cover plate,and the bottom of the cable chamber is equipped with a ground bus.
◆ Pressure release chamber The pressure release chamber is open and located at the lower back of the cabinet. It is totally isolated from other compartments.
There are pressure relief valves at the lower part of the gas tank. The number of pressure relief valves is equal to the number of loops. When a major accident occurs and the protective device fails, the high-pressure gas generated in the gas tank releases pressure through the pressure relief valve, thus ensuring the safety of operators and adjacent equipment.
◆ Switch bus room
In addition to the fuse sealing chamber, the other parts of the stainless steel gas tank constitute the switch-bus chamber.
The three-phase load switch is loaded into the gas tank after debugging as an integral part. The switch structure is rotary three-position, which has both isolation and grounding functions. The static contact of the switch is equipped with a metal fence,which is curved, so as to enhance the traveling effect when arc extinguishing.
In order to optimize the electric field distribution in the gas tank, the main bus is designed as a rectangular copper bar with R5 rounded corners, and the loop bus and transformer bus are copper rods of ф20 and ф10, respectively. Metal shield covers are installed on the parts that may cause the local electric field tip, such as bus connection and fixed position, in order to uniform the electric field and improve the insulation strength.
◆ Operating room
The operating mechanism room is located in the upper half of the inflatable cabinet. The mechanism roller is tightly matched with the switch operating disc and is fixed by bolts.
The mechanism is divided into single spring (feeding mechanism) and double spring (outgoing mechanism) to form loop circuit and transformer circuit switch. The spring is disc spring, which has the characteristics of high assembly accuracy, small operation force, long service life and high stability.
◆ Fuse chamber The fuse chamber (fuse sealing chamber) is located in the middle of the inflatable cabinet and in the gas tank filled with SF6 gas.
The fuse sealing bin is composed of epoxy resin insulating cylinder poured by APG process and upper conductive and lower conductive electrodes (end caps). The upper and lower conductive electrodes are equipped with switch opening. The front door has fuse action indicator for easy observation and maintenance. The fuse can be easily replaced by unscrewing the end cap with the operating handle.

MR-SafeRing-12/24 series switch cabinet. It can be equipped with integrated remote control monitoring unit. This pre-installed product can be assembled in the factory.
